At FirstBPO, Inc., we currently offer a complete range of data analysis and statistical analysis services using SPSS Quantum and SPSS packages. The statistical support services we provide include:
Statistical Analysis using SPSS
| 1 |
ANOVA |
Analysis of variance to study cause-and-effect of one or more factors on a single dependent variable. |
| 2 |
Simple/Multiple Linear Regression |
Regression to explain variation in one variable based on variation in one or more independent variables. |
| 3 |
Correlation |
Bi-variate, Partial and Distances to find degree of association between two sets of quantitative data. |
| 4 |
Discriminant |
Analysis for classification and prediction and for attribute based perceptual mapping. |
| 5 |
Cluster |
Analysis for Market Segmentation (Hierarchal/K-means) to identify groups of target customers similar in buying habits or demographic and psychographic characteristics. |
| 6 |
Multi-Dimensional Scaling |
Analysis for product positioning and branding, based on consumer rating or perceptions regarding various attributes. Also used to study gaps in product offerings for opportunity window. |
| 7 |
Conjoint |
Analysis for designing product/service offerings. |
Statistical Analysis using Quantum:
Axis level statistics include:
| 1 |
chi 1 |
One dimensional chi-squared test. |
| 2 |
friedman |
Friedman’s test of differences in location/ranking/preference (average value) between a set of matched samples. |
| 3 |
z1 |
One sample z test of proportions. |
| 4 |
t1 |
One sample or paired t-test. |
| 5 |
mcnemar |
McNemar’s test of significance of changes. |
Table level statistics include:
| 1 |
Anova (f-test) |
F-test for testing whether differences between a set of means calculated from independent samples are significant. |
| 2 |
chi 2 |
Two-dimensional chi-squared test. This is an overall chi-squared value for the table and may be used for any association between the axes that form the table. |
| 3 |
chi s |
Single classification chi-squared test. This statistic tests whether a sub-sample proportion differs significantly from the corresponding proportion for the sample as whole. |
| 4 |
Ks |
Kolmogorov-Smirnov test of difference between 2 samples. This statistic is used to compare the cumulative frequency distributions of two samples to test whether they are from the same population.
|
| 5 |
Nk |
Newman-Keuls test for comparison. Test of differences between the means of two or more samples of the same size. Alternative to T-test.
|
| 6 |
t2 |
Two sample or paired t-test for comparison of means. |
| 7 |
z2 |
Two sample z test on proportions. Used to test differences between column percentages in a single row of a table. |
| 8 |
z3 |
One sample z test on sub-sample proportions. Used to test differences between all row percentages in a single row of a table.
|
| 9 |
z4 |
One sample z test on proportions in overlapping samples. |
Normally, our clients ask for data cleaning/editing and tabulation with basic t/z/f and chi-square statistic and a Quantum output for SPSS and/or in Word/Excel format. The SPSS statistical analysis mostly required includes ANOVA, linear regression and correlation and discriminant analysis.
We also provide advanced statistical analysis using other software packages. In addition to our full time professional staff, we have some highly experienced professional statisticians from esteemed statistical institutions as our Technical Advisors, who actively consult for industrial projects locally and abroad.
In summary, we offer to our clients reliable, timely and consistent quality analysis services and look forward to a long standing relationship with them. In case the volume or urgency justifies it, we would be ready to commit a dedicated team of professionals who will be trained in your methodology or tools and ensure quick turnarounds.
